It’s an illusion
And just when everything seems like it couldn’t get much better. fate comes around and kicks you in the face. i suppose i could look at this optimistically and say “oh everything happens for a reason. if life were all one smooth, straight road. it wouldn’t be worth living.” but when you just feel like shit trying to be optimistic is probably the biggest serving of bullshit you can attempt to feed yourself.
